Houston Astros Sign-Stealing Fiasco

The Astros did the right thing firing the GM and the manager after their involvement with it. It’s just morally wrong that there was an extra camera placed in center field and relay the catchers signs to a monitor in the dugout and determine the pitches. What makes it worse is that the monitors were taken off the wall and secretly placed somewhere else. Also, Alex Cora’s involvement and him instituting this new technology is just wrong. He grew up in the age where there was no technology used to determine if a pitch was a breaking ball or fast ball. You had to guess or sit on your pitch. I feel that Stephen A Smith was right this morning on First Take where Cal Ripken and Tony Gwynn just wanted to beat you normally and guess pitches instead of gaining the extra advantage of tipping pitches. My view on the Houston Astros has changed and I believe they are the New England Patriots of baseball. They are cheaters and I believe the championships that they won and the Boston Red Sox won should be relinquished and given to the National League Champions.
